LOW MALE LIBIDO

WHAT IS LIBIDO?

Libido in its common usage means sexual desire. Low libido, or low sex drive or sexual desire, is a common condition affecting many people around the world. It can be caused by a variety of different factors, both physical and psychological. Low libido decreases a person's desire for sex and interferes with their ability to perform during sexual intercourse. While both men and women suffer from low libido, the causes and treatments are not always the same, although many overlap.

  • Recent physical illness - recovery phase of an illness can still have reduced libido.
  • Painful intercourse, Recent childbirth - causes both emotional changes reducing libido, and physical injury related to a vaginal birth.
  • Sexual problems, Impotence, Vaginal dryness 
  • Medical conditions such as Hormonal conditions, Menopause, Pregnancy, Low testosterone, Flu, Glandular fever, Any medical condition causing fatigue, tiredness, etc.
  •  illicit drugs, Medications
  • Sleep deprivation
  • Sexual abuse, having sex by compulsions with a person whom you do not like.
  • Eating spicy, salty and hot food increase pitta and destroys semen.
  • If Vajikara dravyas (herbal preparations to increase lilbido)) are not consumed by such persons regularly, it may lead to impotence.
  • By controlling sexual urges for longer duration leads to Obstruction of semen and this leads to low libido.

HOME REMEDIES TO INCREASE LIBIDO
Ashwagandha is also an herb which helps to reduce the stress and maintain the strong immune system. It is also very useful to increase the lower level of testosterone and increase the relational drives.
Eat a few raw oysters a day to help increase male libido.
Ginseng (a Chinese herb) deals with all kind of relational dysfunction and increases the male relational drives. It also helps to provide relational energy and stamina.
